Our Story

Preserving nature, sharing Tanzania's beauty since 2000

Our Humble Beginnings

A family's passion for nature and hospitality

Saadani Pangani Camps and Tours began as a labor of love in the early 2000s, founded by Joseph Majura Senior. What started as a family project rooted in conservation and education has grown into a beloved destination for travelers seeking authentic Tanzanian experiences.

Joseph's vision was simple yet profound: to conserve nature, serve our community, and help visitors understand the priceless value of Tanzania's natural wonders. His dedication to these principles continues to guide us today.

In 2020, we honored Joseph's legacy by establishing our campsite, creating a space where guests could immerse themselves in Tanzania's breathtaking landscapes while supporting our conservation efforts.

"Nature is not just our business—it's our responsibility and our greatest teacher."

Why we do what we do

Conservation Through Tourism

At Saadani Pangani Camps and Tours, we provide exceptional accommodation and guided tours across Tanzania's most spectacular destinations. But we're more than just a hospitality business—we're stewards of the land.

Our mission is threefold:

  • Conserve: Protect Tanzania's natural heritage through sustainable tourism practices
  • Educate: Share the value of nature with our guests and local community
  • Inspire: Create meaningful experiences that foster lifelong appreciation for Tanzania's ecosystems

Every service we offer reflects our commitment to these values and our respect for the hard-earned trust of our guests.
